This one works! July 17, 2008 Chris White (Sacramento, CA) I happened to catch the 1-mile walk on a hotel room TV. As soon as it was over, I ordered the DVD. The 1-mile walk is fast and easy--about 20 minutes and you've knocked out a mile and used lots of different muscles. I do the one mile every morning (in my work clothes!) and the two-mile in the evening. (It takes 35 minutes.) After a month of this, I'm still not bored and...most importantly...I'm down two pants sizes. It's great!
Easy to do and follow April 16, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I hate to exercise.I'm lazy. I have bad coordination. I'm the type that trips over patterns in the linoleum:) With that said..I must urge others like me to try this work out. I found this to be very easy to follow. You have just three basic moves. Walk, kicks and side steps. I really like that the people in the work out are a range of fitness and age.(20's-60's) There is one older man and an older woman plus a younger woman who is heavier.I love that the instructor is in her 50's.I get a great deal of insperation from them. They show you one person to watch who is modifying the moves to lessen the intensity. I found this to be very helpful since I have just started this 5 days ago. No weights are needed. I have more energy already. While there is no weight loss yet, I know it will come.
Great workout February 26, 2003 Charla Ledger (Ontario) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I can usually only stick with working out for a few weeks, but this video has kept me motivated. I bought the three different videos at the same time (1 mile, 2 miles and 3 miles) so depending on how much time I have I can choose which one to do. It doesn't leave you too exhausted to move, but you get a great workout.
REALLY BURN FAT - NO EQUIPMENT NECESSARY! September 25, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I own this and many other of Leslie's walking videos. They are all great, easy to follow and best of all do not require special equipment. all you need is a sturdy pair of sneakers (no fancy and expensive exercise clothing either just whatever is comfortable for you). I wish I had discovered Leslie's videos several years ago before I spent a lot of $$$$ on exercise equipment that has hardly ever been used. I use Leslie's videos 4-5 times a week and am never bored. Save your money. Don't sink it into exercise machines that take up space and end up been used as clothes racks! Invest more than a few $$ for a good pair of walking shoes for those precious feet and walk with Leslie everyday rain, sleet, snow, or shine.
Only work-out I've stuck with August 3, 2002 lost_in_space82 (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've tried to follow countless exercise video's and I must say this is the first video I can actually follow! Her program is simple but very effective and also enjoyable to do. Forget spending thousands on a treadmill - give one of Leslie's video's a try!
