Best (only?) decent repeating to-do list in the world January 6, 2008 Jonathan Bonjovi 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Having tested nearly every available PIM, NUTD is the ONLY one that has a really good, flexible, customizable to-do list. The events, the appointments, and all the other types of schedulable items are more flexible than any program I've used.
In addition, the undated items that you can create with this program make a very good project manager for those using the Getting Things Done model. You can also use the categories for the GTD context.
My only complaint is that on occasion, changing the category causes the newly created item to double, just before it crashes the program.
Can't wait to see what NightHawk brings.
I expect much more for $120 November 15, 2005 J. Gardner (Bryan, TX United States) 12 out of 20 found this review helpful
Maybe the GUI is great. Maybe the calendar-sharing features are great within the tiny enclave of NUDC users cloistered in various organizations. But when a groupware product can't do basic things like publishing iCalendar or Free/Busy files and querying LDAP servers for contact information (c'mon, even Microsoft's products can do that!), it's next to worthless in my book. Why even have the groupware features? The server daemons are nothing but flaky, hog the CPU, collapse under load. My advice? Stick with free/open source alternatives that are standards-based and won't leave you stranded on a calendaring island.
