The Bugdom was once a peaceful place ruled by the Rollie Pollies and the Lady Bugs, but not long ago the Bugdom was overthrown by the clan of the Fire Ants. After recruiting other bugs to help fight for them, they captured all of the Lady Bugs and are holding them prisoner. The leader of the Fire Ants, the new king of the Bugdom, is King Thorax. Once he is defeated, the Bugdom will return to the peaceful place it used to be. You are Rollie McFly, the only remaining bug capable of saving the Lady Bugs and restoring peace to the Bugdom. Rollie has been hiding in the lawn area of the Bugdom and will need to travel far to get to the Ant Hill, where the battle with King Thorax must take place. There will be water to cross, bugs to ride, and plenty of enemy forces to defeat, but once the Fire Ants and King Thorax have been defeated, you will become the new ruler of the Bugdom and peace will be restored. Bugdom offers real-time 3-D action, more than 23 different bugs and enemies, and 10 exciting levels. Swim, jump, ride bugs, and swing on ropes. Go into beehives and anthills. Bugdom also offers an incredible CD-quality soundtrack, and it is suitable for all ages.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. It is SO FUN!!! I started playing this game when I was younger with my dad, and we had a lot of fun. Recently, I picked it up again and I had a lot of fun again, so I think it really is a timeless game. You are Rollie McFly, a pillbuggish insect who has the ability to roll in ball form and kick. The goal of the game is to get to level 10 and defeat King Thorax who is the evil king of Bugdom. Along the way you can open nuts laying around the levels and, by walking through the clovers inside of them, gain points. Nuts also contain mushrooms (rolling power) and raspberries for health, lives, and shields.
Buddy Bugs can also come from nuts. These bugs fly around a level with you until you use them. Then, by cracking another nut somewhere, you'll get another Buddy Bug.
All the levels in this game feature new challenges which the player must master to win the level, like flying a dragonfly, riding a water boatman, jumping on pieces of floating honeycomb, and swinging on hanging vines (especially hard).
The game is wonderfully diverse and challenging, so BUY IT and HAVE FUN!!!

This game is a awsome game. You get to kick the ants and free the ladybugs. IT IS A FUN GAME!!!!!!!!! I TOTALLY RECOMEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was my first game because it came in my imac. the controls are very simple, good for starters. there are many weird new species of insects and imaginitive ways to use them; my favorite was brain sucking mosquitos. when they attack, rollie's head shrinks very small while that of the mosquito balloons accompanied by a loud sucking sound. the best level was 8, the nighttime level, but the hardest one was 9, in the cave. the bosses tend to be easy, especially the last, and this game can be keyboard smashingly annoying (boxer bugs, bee larvae, being blindsided by rock throwing ants, falling into honey, etc). level 4 is especially guilty because of being walked on at arbitrary times by enormous feet and getting eaten by a bat. the music is often irritating (and loud) and the game is short. however, any game where the main object is to run around kicking nuts has got to be good.

This game is great!!! It has a bit of violence, only a rollie pollie kicking enemies. There is no blood, and no enemies die EVER! Only faint.
Level 1 is a Training Level. EASY!!!
Level 2 is the Lawn, It's moderately easy.
Level 3 is the Pond. Careful, if the fish eat you, you lose ONE WHOLE LIFE! And, by the way, the water skaters are invincible.
Level 4 is the Beach. It doesn't even look like a beach!!! You can fly on the dragonflies though, which is FUN!
Level 5 is Ariel Combat. You have to destroy the beehive on a dragonfly. You can shoot it by clicking of pushing command.
Level 6 is inside the burning beehive. Careful of the honey!!!
Level 7 is Destroying the Queen Bee. You have to roll into her to destroy her.
Level 8 is the night. The fire ants HURT!!!
Level 9 is in the anthill. If you kill an ant here, it turns into a ghost and you can't destroy it unless it goes into the lava or water.
Level 10... The King Ant!!! He's hard to beat. If you just go up and kick him, he'll laugh at you. Lure him nest to a water pipe and kick the pipe, the water will put his fire out and you can roll into him or give him a few good kicks!!!

Bugdom is really really really cool. It is very inappropriate for babies. Cool boys , 5 or 6 or older, will like the rollie-pollie-ollies and the buddy bugs and the hot lava pool and the meanie ghost ants. The king ant is very evil and very hard to kill and make sure you watch out for the ants' arrows. Also, the drawings are beautiful. We don't know exactly how to kill the ghost ants but we will soon. You will have a lot of fun with Bugdom.
