This web-site did not give specifics about the construction of this cabinet. This was a very poorly constructed cabinet. The doors were not mounted correctly. The left door was higher than the door on the right side. The finish wasn't even veneer, it seemed to be painted on becasue it flaked off on the top after the first dusting. The hinges prevented the door from closing flush against the cabinet frame. I had a furniture maker try to repair this defect and he told me this was impossible because the cabinet was made of flake board and couldn't be routed out any more than it was. Buyer be carefull! I checked back and the details didn't give any construction specifications, i.e. wood veneers with solid woods. I never had any problems with Ashley before but I will never buy another Ashley product. The only suitable place for this piece of so called furniture is in the dump.
