3 out of 5 stars Beware, not good for wider people   March 9, 2008

You get to use only 12" section of this footrest, where the wheels are. If your legs spread wider like mines (either you have wider hips or wider thighs), your feet will slide from the sides (notice there is no friction material on wither side)! Bad design in my opinion. Measure the breadth of your legs in a relaxed state before you buy any footrest, or you will end up crossing your legs, which puts stress on your knees.

4 out of 5 stars happy feet   January 13, 2008

This was a gift for my Daughter for Christmas. She loves it! We all use it though because it is at the computer desk in our kitchen. We have throughly enjoyed it. It is very useful both as a foot prop for my younger son and as a massager for myself. I run which makes my feet really sore. It is nice to get a soothing foot massage while I check my email at night. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was packaging. When it arrived, the box was open on both ends because no packing tape had been used to secure the box closed. Thankfully all of the parts were inside. Very easy assembly.

5 out of 5 stars Worth every penny...   November 5, 2007

When setting up my home office I made sure to buy quality. I was going to be working from this space a minimum of 8 hours per day every day, and if I had to spend a bit more to get quality then so be it. I was ready for it. What I wasn't ready for was finding that most high-backed 'Executive Chairs' simply aren't made for short women! When I bought my comfortable, supportive and oh-so beautiful leather chair, I didn't realize that to sitting back in the chair to get the full lumbar support meant my feet were swinging 3" from the ground like a kid in a high chair. Considering I suffer from mild RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome) the foot swinging wasn't a good idea.

I knew I needed a good foot rest, so started doing my research. From what I read even the plastic ones started at $30, and the reviews weren't that great. I wanted something easily adjustable as well as sturdy. When I saw this footrest the rollers intrigued me. I have a habit of working in my stocking feet, so the idea that I could work the rollers with my feet throughout my day sounded like something that could benefit my RLS as well as just feel good! I wasn't wrong.

The footrest is easily assembled, very sturdy, and can be adjusted easily while sitting at your desk. The rollers move freely, and don't make much noise. The price isn't much more than an inferior plastic model that has to be adjusted manually, and I know this one will last the duration! I can now sit back in my Executive Chair in my stocking feet typing on my keyboard and talking to my clients on the phone with full support at my lower back and my feet. Worth every penny....

I have one at work, and I LOVE IT!!! A number of others at work have asked to get the same footrest and they love it also. I am about to buy one for me to use at my home computer. I miss it when I am at home.

This is a wonderful product. It's sturdy, & the rolling bars on it feel wonderful on your feet. If you are at a desk/table for a long time you need it, when you're away from it & at another desk, you'll miss it. I have one for my pc & am about to get one for my scrapbook table :)
