4 out of 5 stars Simple and reliable   October 31, 2008
EMTP EJ (Washington, DC USA)
I just used this for a presentation the other day after not using it for a long time. The original batteries still worked! After sitting for years!
Pros: Simple user controls, easy set-up, RF communication which often is better than line-of-sight IR, laser pointer, fairly compact and easy to store, screen blank- un-blank button. Generally less expensive than devices with more features.

Cons: No built-in memory for your presentation in the USB part, no mouse control in this version limits what you can use it for, you have to remove the batteries to prevent it turning on and draining the energy from them.

5 out of 5 stars It works on Linux too!   September 25, 2008

I was a little worried that it might not work on Linux (SLED 10), but it does! Love it!

I bought this for our department in a large company after a recommendation from another department. The word is spreading about this little gizmo - everyone who uses it loves it. It's simple & gets the job done without hiccups or problems. There are no problems with reliability, either. The folks in our organization who have used it recommend it without reservation.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   December 11, 2007

I purchased 3 of the Interlink VP4150 RemotePoint Navigator 2.4's for our department. Faculty love using this. It was a great price and easy to use. I have had one of the faculty purchase one on her own after using the departments. Highly recommend.

Works great. 1st time I used it was on someone else's PC. I had to cover for another person and I just plugged in the USB key, and started flipping through slides from across the room. All the keys worked great.
