5 out of 5 stars Well I for one love it!   August 30, 2008

I don't care what anyone says. When you have small children, this hits home. It's the little moments in life that can define who we become in the future, and that everything happens for a reason. I loved the song, and the movie is by far one of my favorites of all time!

5 out of 5 stars I guess I'm sappy.....   August 27, 2008

Little wonder is the reason I've decided to purchase the soundtrack-watching the movie with my daughter, i felt it was perfect for the movie, and we both hum it around the house. The instrumentals are okay, and if you've seen the movie, it's pretty much what you've heard on screen. And as for sounding like hallmark, well, sure, but when you tell someone you love them, it doesn't matter how many times you've seen it in a card. Overall much better than radio for long drives to grandmom's.

Rob Thomas' "Little Wonders" is supposed to be a meditation on everyday life. Instead, it's a sappy, cliched ballad. Sadly, it's too bland to be a guilty pleasure. It's as if the lyrics were taken from Hallmark cards. There's nothing memorable about it. There's little to wonder at,unfortunately.

What a wonderful song! I'm using it for one of my cellphone's ringtone. Rob Thomas' line, "It's the heart that really matters in the end," is an apt motto. These are definitely words to live by, as is the song's notion that it is little things, "twists and turns of fate," that can completely change someone's life.
