I own Dir en Grey's previous US release, Withering to Death, and while I enjoyed it somewhat, some elements of it were pretty "out there" for me, and I found I had to really be in a certain mood to listen to it.
This song seems a bit more focused, musically, and I quite enjoyed it, finding it more regularly listenable than most any of the songs on Withering to Death. I'll certainly be checking this CD out.
If you loved Withering to Death's more "out there" aspects, you may find this song a bit lacking, but I personally prefer it this way. Anyway, check it out for free while you can!
