a great magazine features something u want January 26, 2006 cat loll (Beijing, China) i have read this i-D for just 1 year! but i knew it for many years, cos i live in china, there's few foregin magazine i could bought around my city beijing. i booked it in a import&export company. it's really too expensive to me, it cost more than 1,000 yuan RMB. you could read all new in this mag. new models, new fashion, new photographers etc. the quanlity of this mag is well, paper and print are the best. its pics are not just beautiful also can get you into a think-time, and you will won something that you feeling great. so buy i then get the i-D's mind into your brain. after few monthes you will find i-d is one of the greatest mag in the world.
caution: this is *not* "I.D.", the industrial design mag January 23, 2005 elle ko (sf, ca) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
i-D magazine is not the same I.D. magazine. the former is the magazine described on this page, a fashion magazine. the latter is short for Industrial Design magazine, which is what the misplaced product description above describes.
my go-to fashion magazine i-D focuses on the high fashion and its culture, particularly europe-based/ international designers.
the magazine often features interviews with top designers, executives, and misc. fashion celebrities. there are several large spreads of photography in every issue, with very clear themes and well-selected, representative pieces from fresh off the runway lines, accompanied by similarly fresh hair and make up. this is what stylists and designers read.
many large chain bookstores carry i-D, i would say it enjoys the widest circulation among its competitors (V/ this is a magazine.) its non-industry readership can be compared to that of surface magazine, but i-D is very fashion focused. the subscription is not cheaper than buying individual issues, but it sells out from bookstores and newsstands regularly.
printed in England.
