Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
We've been searching for years for the perfect small size instrument designed for a child who is really serious about learning to play either classical or folk style guitar. We are thrilled with these handcrafted student guitars which are a giant step above any others that we ve found. The strings are close to the fret board for easy playing, each guitar has a strong and balanced tonal projection, and comes with nylon strings that are gentle on tender fingers. 36-3/4" long x 14-1/16" to 9-5/8" wide x 4" deep. (AGES 8-12)

I know very little about guitars. My son started lessons on a "toy" one. His teacher was painfully polite as he explained that it would be okay, but was hard to keep in tune--could not be tuned properly, in fact. I purchased this on the recommendation of the music teacher's review here. My son's teacher pronounced it a real instrument. More than the praise of the teacher, I am pleased by the lack of that horrible sound from the previous guitar! I really do lack the expertise to deliver a more credible review.
