Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Castanets. Origin Country: India. 6" L x 6" W x 7" H. 1 lbs. Made by Mid-East.

Pair of ebony castanets. 2 5/8 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches long (6.75 x 9 cm). Two corded clam-shaped wooden clappers of ebony, played in the palm of the hand. To play, hang them from your thumb so they rest in the plam of your hand. Then drum your fingers on the shell. We do not recommend them for beginners. Each set has a (M) male and (F) female castanet.

5 out of 5 stars Great!!   March 20, 2008

I am no expert on Castanets but I can see the set is well made.
How they work or how to work them is an entirely different story.
I have no idea how to make them click.
Need a teacher to instruct and castanet players are hard to find.
Have fun..
