Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Nice gentle sound, not that irritating hollow plastic rattle!   September 30, 2008
Jersey Reader (Sunnyvale, CA)
I love these, they make a nice gentle shaking sound that only wood can provide...the plastic ones I have make this awful grating gravel in a plastic egg kind of sound that's way too sharp. These are great and I highly recommend them.

5 out of 5 stars Nice shakers!   September 15, 2008
Sara Smiles (Virginia)
These were a hit with the kids, even the one who chewed on the handles (6mo) - nice maracas!

5 out of 5 stars Nice maracas   January 14, 2008
C. J. Bourne (Atlanta, GA)
These wooden maracas are my preferred alternative to the less authentic plastic maracas that are often directed towards children. They are small and the perfect size for small hands. I would always choose these over plastic. They have a nice sound and look.

5 out of 5 stars Good way to introduce music to a little one   June 29, 2007
Toddler Mom (Peachland, NC)
We bought these for our toddler son, and they are sized for a child. The handles make them easier hold than a shake egg.
Great for the price. I even borrow them to use at church when we are playing music that needs subtle percussion.
