The Rhythm Club™ conga features a high-density base with molded "feet" to elevate the drum so that even the smallest percussionist can produce great sounds. The Acousticon™ shell is manufactured from recycled hardwood fibers and is unaffected by climatic changes. The orchestral-quality Renaissance™ drumhead features a textured surface and a wider (yet more balanced) spectrum of sound. My son got this with the club bongos and this almost gets played more often than the bongos. But it's also been picked up and played by the Grandparents and every kid that has come over to play. So much fun. So durable and has a wonderful sound to it!
The only precaution...little ones like to put the strap around their heads, not advisable!!

My kids love this drum. They got it for Christmas and it still is a favorite. My husband loves it too. :-)
