Amazon.co.uk Since 2002's jaunty Waiting for My Rocket to Come, Jason Mraz has developed into a more mature, well-rounded pop artist. We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things is his most multi-dimensional work yet, covering everything from groove-based material to ballads. While tracks such as "Make It Mine" and "Butterfly" refer back to the catchy style of previous albums, there are many other styles and textures on display here. His duet with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky," for example, explores his folkish, acoustic side, as does the compelling "Details in the Fabric," both of which are excellent songs. Mraz gets a little more experimental on "Coyotes," which toys with a clubby electronica and strangely seems to work, and on "The Dynamo of Volition" for which he employs a hectic, rapping-style of vocal over a typically contagious rhythm. His ballads, such as "Love For A Child", "If It Kills Me" and "Beautiful Mess" (these last two saved for the end) show a more sensitive side and even when his lyrics are occasionally clumsy, Mraz manages to make his point in an emotive way. Easy-going and sunny, but with laudable elements of depth and innovation, this is Mraz at his best so far.--Danny McKenna

Love him August 29, 2008 Ariella Vaccarino (Los Angeles) I love Jason Mraz. What a cool style he does. Really makes you want to just chill out and enjoy life while listening to him. He has a really pleasant voice and just a fabulous overall sound and rhythm.
We Sing, We Dance, etc - GREAT ALBUM! August 28, 2008 Cookin' & Bookin' (North Carolina, USA) I bought this album based on the strength of I'm Yours, the 2nd track. However, I've fallen in love with the entire thing... some of the songs are sweet, some are sad, some are thought-provoking, some are just plain sexy! I've been listening each day and the album keeps growing on me. I especially appreciate Mraz's positive outlook on life ("I guess it's again my turn to win some and learn some..." - from I'm Yours). Buy the whole album, not just 1 or 2 tracks. You won't regret it!
Fun, mello listening August 28, 2008 N. Pedron (Milford, CT) Most of this CD is very enjoyable (a few songs are a little too jazzish for my taste) but you can listen to it anywhere; in the car, in the office, and at home.
The music of the moment.... and for a lifetime! August 27, 2008 Sarah Boring (Knoxville, TN) I cannt say enough wonderful things about this album. I've been a die hard fan for years and years. So much went into making this record and it definitely paid off. The wait was worth it. These songs represent Jason so well and its so refreshing when you can hear the artist in their music. I agree with what alot of people have said, seeing him live will change your life and your outlook on music in general. Its amazing.
I thought that his old stuff would always be my favorite and he'd never make anything that I loved as much but Im happy to be proven wrong. Love Of A Child, If It Kills Me, Live High, Make It Mine, Beautiful Mess are all amazing, amazing songs. I DEFINITELY recommend getting the individual EPs of the three, we sing, we dance, we steal things. Theres nothing quite like an acoustic Jason Mraz.
Another great album August 26, 2008 G. Preston (Eugene, Oregon) I have loved all his cds, and this one is just different enough to be fresh and familiar. My favorite song is LUCKY
