Candlebox rocks! November 8, 2008 Nicki P (NY) This CD is one of the best ever made. Try the Into the Sun, too.
Underrated '90s Release. October 16, 2008 N_Joy (North Carolina) Another one of my favorite CDs from 1994. I know it was actually released in late '93 but the next year was when this CD really took off. Candlebox got grouped with the grunge bands since they were from Seattle but they were a bit more diverse. While there were elements of grunge in their music ("Change" comes to mind with it's slow brooding intro) they had more of a mainstream hard rock sound on alot of their songs like "Arrow", "Don't You". And even a touch of blues on the great tune "Rain". "Blossom" is absolute killer. I love this CD as there is not a throw away track on it. Unfortunately as the years have passed Candlebox, the band and the album, have kind of been forgotten even though it turned out hits "You", "Far Behind" and "Cover Me".
90 Must have May 12, 2008 James C. Rowe Jr. This is a great album if you are an audiophile like myself. One of those obscure grundge rock albums. Good writing of music and songs that are still being heard today over the radio.
Underrated album April 18, 2008 John F. McGrath Jr. I was going through the most formative years of music when this album came out, and me and all my friends where enamored by this album. Start to finish I would say this is a majorly under rated album from the era. Not only did It have the Big Hits "You" and the always popular "Far Behind", but very very good songs like "Cover Me" and "Rain". Unfortunatly the follow up album Lucy was Horrible, to this day Candlebox's self titled album ranks in my all time top ten, and a must own for anyone.
