Product Description
Rather than make daily trips to the compost pile because of smelly, compost-bound scraps, this countertop or under-cabinet Compost Bucket has built-in, activated-carbon filters to absorb odors. Toss in vegetable scraps, tea bags, eggshells and other organic materials, then take to the compost pile later. Made in Canada.

3 out of 5 stars well, the problem might be me   November 9, 2008

fruit flies...no matter what I've done I've gotten fruit flies. I empty it into the compost pile every day, wash it, and still...fruit flies. Now the bucket lives outside the front door, and that works much better, but still, I wish there was a way to have it on my kitchen counter

a great, simple, product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. it holds enough to make each trip to the compost heap 'worthwhile'. This is my second one and odor has never been a problem---what more could I ask!

Collecting kitchen scraps is easy. Don't have any smells between dumpings. Fits under the kitchen sink.

5 out of 5 stars kitchen compost bin   May 8, 2008
I like this product. With the filters there is no smell and it holds a lot of stuff....so i am able to compost all my kitchen waste by putting it in here and then when i have time walk it out to the outdoor compost bin.

5 out of 5 stars I love this thing!   April 15, 2008

I was keeping my kitchen scraps in a Tupperware container on the kitchen counter and then under the sink b/c my wife couldn't stand looking at it. But it was a hassle to open and filled up too fast. With this compost bucket it fits perfectly under the sink, does not smell at all (when closed), the hinged lid is easy to open and add to and it is large enough to collect scraps for a week or two with my small family! Love it!
