2 out of 5 stars Not very durable   December 29, 2008

I purchased this in July, but didn't throw my old drying rack out until September. I have only been using the rack for 3 months. However, some of the slots are coming apart. I also pricked my finger on one of the brads that was sticking out. It worked well for a couple months, but is definately not long lasting and durable.

2 out of 5 stars Could be better   December 29, 2008

It's a great product, but it could be better. Seems incomplete and lazy. The wooden bars are all held together with small straight nails and very little glue. On one side of my rack, one of the nails came off and the bar is now hanging loose. This happened TWO days after I purchased it.

They could have used better glue and nails to put this together, and they could have also applied lacquer to it so t he wood will be preserved.

They should sell this for $2 as a wood project for kids to put together.

I would have really loved it if a bit more thought on customer satisfaction was put into developing this product.

It's cheap, unfinished, and mine was falling apart before it arrived at my door. After 3 days of use, I'm reduced to holding it together with rubber bands -- the nails just pop right out and the thing disintegrates. Splurge a little bit, this thing is crap.

4 out of 5 stars Great for the price   December 8, 2008

Got new Pfaltzgraff dish set and old rack was too small for new dishes to set in, ordered this as replacement and dishes are very stable. Very nice size and fits under sink when not in use.. I am very happy with this purchase

Very disappointing. The description said it was made of hardwood, so we ordered it to replace an older one bought at a department store. Upon receiving and inspecting the item it was discovered that it was not made of hardwood as advertized but of pine, actually we could smell it!. Futhermore, the wood was not finished at all (lacquered) to protect it from wet dishes. Also the workmanship was pretty poor. So we returned it.
