2 out of 5 stars Not very durable   September 8, 2008
Beachlover
When I first bought these, I loved the feel of them. If they'd stayed that way, I would have come back and bought more of them. Sadly, that wasn't the case. I've owned them for over a year now, and they've changed quite a bit. I've never put them in the dryer, but they still shrunk to almost half the size. They are now thick and unpleasant feeling. I did wash them in the washing machine, however.

If you buy them, I'd recommend handwashing or the gentle cycle inside a net bag, using a mild detergent. I don't know if this would solve the problem, but it's worth a try. As for me, I won't ever buy these again.

5 out of 5 stars Great dish rag   April 27, 2008

We were introduced to this through my sis-in-law and decided to try some for ourselves. This cloth was really amazing. Just to really test it out, we used the same one for 3 weeks and it never started smelling nasty and never lost it's soft lush feel. I don't know how they can do that, seeing that the dish rag is made out of wood, rather than cloth, but they really work great and are worth every penny.

4 out of 5 stars Great product...   May 17, 2007

These really do live up to their promises! They are great. I have found, after using them for a few months, that a couple of them do have little pill balls on them though, I'm not sure how that happened. I do machine wash and dry them, and they have shrunk some. Quite a bit, really, but that is ok I have small hands and found them to be a little too large anyway for washing dishes. Now they are perfect! They are super soft after you machine dry them.
I would definitely buy more.

The only down side is they look like cotton diapers. Not a real attactive thing, but at least you can tell when they need washing... they are white.

5 out of 5 stars I couldn't be happier.......   February 20, 2007

These may seem a bit pricey for dish cloths, but they're worth every cent. They never smell icky like cotton dish cloths do, and they dry more quickly than cotton. And soap rinses away very fast, no rinse and re-rinse needed. I couldn't be happier with this product!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Finally!!   February 19, 2007

I think I've waited my whole life for this product! One of my biggest pet peeves has been sour dishcloth smell. And lately it seems that no sooner than my cotton dishcloths got wet, they were smelling...and believe me I tried everything to get the smell out and keep it out, including pulling out a clean cloth each day.
Then came Mabu! This cloth is super thirsty, rinses clean every time and is easy to care for. I have two small children, so you know I'm wiping up spills and messes constantly...Mabu keeps up with all of it!
And the most important part of all is the eco-friendly factor. Using this cloth is one small way for me to send the message to my girls that our planet is worth protecting.
