don't buy October 27, 2008 C. Alleman (Alexandria, VA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We returned this product, was a lemon!! Cooling and heater didn't work, water had a bad taste.
Holds standard 2 gallon, 3 gallon or 5 gallon bottle February 8, 2008 William J. Wiles 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The listing is in error it should read cooler holds standard 2 gallon, 3 gallon or 5 gallon bottle. (not 23 gallon) also the refridgeration does not last as long as a more expensive water cooler. But is is great to have a sealable pure water supply after it breaks down. I have a regular residential refridgerator that I just refill my portable bottles for cold water.
Had to buy 3 to get one that worked April 25, 2007 David Brockett (Eugene, OR) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Because of the needs of our small office I was determined to get a small water cooler/heater and this was the only model I could find. The 3rd unit seems to be fine (I returned the other two because they were defective and either didn't heat or didn't cool the water. Flush the unit well and run a little vinagar and water through it to get rid of the plastic taste.
Item not useful February 1, 2006 J Rob (Parkersburg, WV United States) 38 out of 40 found this review helpful
This product uses the standard water bottles but, does not hold but a little over 16 oz. of water at a time. It says in the handbook that if you use 2 cups of water, it will take the machine 25 minutes to get the next 2 cups cold. It doesn't say that in the description on the item. Product does not have the piercing device that you turn the water bottle upside down on. So I'm not sure how the water is supposed to drain into the very small reservoir. If you have to remove the entire cap from the top of the water bottle, that is very dumb. I will stick with the cooler I have that sets on the floor taking up room.
