The Simply Calphalon Stainless line of cookware is an excellent alternative for those who prefer the look of stainless steel and the easy maintenance of cooking on nonstick. This cookware also is a great fit for those who desire Calphalon quality at a more budget price. Perfect for cooking three to four servings, this 10-inch omelet pan cooks a medium-sized omelet or frittata. Its low, sloping sides also make it useful for shallow frying of crab cakes or for searing chicken breasts. Most people only ask for a couple of things from an Omelet Pan. To heat and cook evenly, to slip the finished product onto a plate without any fuss, and to clean up easily. This pan is so easy to clean I usually do it by hand, but I also use it for more complicated dishes, like frying up some hash, or to brown some meat and do a stir fry.
It does all of these things without complaint, and if I am busy, I just toss it into the dishwasher and it always comes out like new.
I have cooked with many pans over the years, and this right up there with the top of the lot.

For almost two years I've had several sizes of these pans. They have good weight and balance, are very easy to clean quickly, and are reasonably priced.
Regarding the dishwasher, I have put some of the smaller pans in there, however I've found that since these are so easy to clean because of the nonstick surface, it's easier and faster to do it by hand -- about as quick to wash by hand as it is to load into the dishwasher and unload later -- plus then you've used up a lot of room that could be used for other things.
Before purchasing, I considered the tri-ply pans, however the handles were terrible, especially when trying to hold the additional weight. Plus they are much more expensive.
I'd definitely recommend this pan to anyone - great product and good price.

This is a great pan. Heavy and solid. Wash it in the sink like anything you want to have last.

I purchased this product in a retail store. The packaging clearly states it is dishwasher safe. Then after you unpack it, and read that if you put it in the dishwasher you void the ten year warranty! Do not make the same mistake I did, avoid this product.
