Aluminum screws made of heat-treated 2024-T4 aluminum alloy. Has mild resistance to weather-related corrosion. Nonmagnetic with good electrical conductivity and one-third the weight of steel. Rockwell hardness is not rated. Min. tensile strength is 55,000 psi. Round head screws have a thicker head than pan head screws for a deeper drive and a flat bearing surface. Length is measured from under head.
