5 out of 5 stars Very good   August 25, 2008
    Gaius Julius Ceasar (Ancient Rome)
The product is good and will last long if you take care of it. I wish it was a bit less expensive for what you get, however since we do not use glue that often, it lasted us for at least a year.

To keep the glue from drying out i recomend getting all the air out prior to closing it and then put some scotch tape over it and keep it in a ziplock bag with no air inside.

4 out of 5 stars One Tough Glue   August 6, 2008

    Pros:
    -Really tough glue
    -More flexible than super glue
    -Waterproof
-Works on many surfaces, metals, wood, ceramics, some plastics, etc. Best for wood applications.

    Cons:
-It expands, drips and produce tiny bubbles during the drying process. This is my biggest gripe. Definitely not for repairing your Lladros or others applications that require hairline precision.
-Glue is not clear but yellow. Very noticeable, not good if you really want a clean finish.
-Make sure you really clean the tip of the bottle or it will be hard to open and use it the next time
    -Expensive

5 out of 5 stars Incredible product!   December 28, 2007

I have been using Gorilla Glue as a professional model maker for several months now, and I am happy to report that it surpasses any and all expectations I had for it. I use it to glue resin panels to masonite and fiber board, and it is extraoridnary in that role. I have found that the expanding quality of the glue allows gaps to be forgiven, and have used it in place of wood glue on several projects. Use it sparingly, though, because the expanding nature of Gorilla glue can sneak up on you. It does sand very well, and takes paint well, too. I even used it to put my gutter back in place when it started to fall off of my house... Three months later (in Oregon rain) and it's still holding tight. For smaller projects, I would advise using Gorilla Super Glue, which is simply amazing stuff. I cannot even BEGIN to recommend these glues enough!

    3 out of 5 stars Not an All-Purpose Glue   October 5, 2007

I think this glue is best used for porous surfaces like stone, wood, drywall, foam, rug material, cloth and brickwork. It dries brittle, with practically no elasticity, so I don't recommend it for automotive applications where there is a lot of mechanical vibration. It also takes longer than 24 hours to dry, and it foams and leaves a lot of run-off. So if you have holes or voids to fill, this glue is perfect. I consider Gorilla Glue to be the new improved, waterproof version of white glue. The manufacturer claims this is the world's strongest glue, but I don't think so. And it's not an all-purpose glue like Household Goop, or The Welder.

5 out of 5 stars Better Than Superglue!   April 14, 2007

Much better than superglue you buy at the grocery store!

To get it open you'll need a sharp pair of scissors or good knife as you have to cut the tip off then put the cap (on the side) on top. And a tip to make it last longer, when finished squeeze the bottle until the glue is almost at the tip (to get the air out), then put the top on. Then put the entire bottle into a ziplock bag so to keep all the air out as the air will try it up.
