Product Description
From a wide, flat base, the sides of this pan curve up and out, making it easy to flip or turn foods as they cook. Designed for quick cooking in a small amount of oil or butter, the fry pan is also great for browning and sauteing.
• The 8" size is ideal for one or two servings, or for small tasks such as sauteing chopped onion or mushrooms for another dish.
• The 10" size is perfect for three to four servings, to pan-fry up to three burgers, or to make a generous omelet for two.
• The 12" pan is well-suited for family-size portions of meats or side dishes such as stir-fried broccoli rabe or pan-fried potatoes.
• The 14" extra-large pan is ideal for pan-frying or searing good cuts of beef and has a helper handle; we especially like it for making steak au poivre. Also great for making a big batch of potato latkes.

All-Clad's leading cookware line is brilliantly styled with a hand-polished gleaming stainless-steel finish that many of the world's professional and home chefs prefer. The 18/10 stainless-steel interior will not react with your food, leaving the pure taste you desire. Dishwasher-safe.

5 out of 5 stars Fry the best egg ever!   October 30, 2008
Casey E. Sloan (Charleston, SC)
This 8" pan is quite tiny. I have not found many things I can use it for. However, since it is an All-Clad, it has even heating and it does fry the best egg, and grill a very tasty grilled cheese sandwich!

5 out of 5 stars As fry pans go, this is the gold standard.   October 22, 2008

I had a nice round $100 gift certificate to blow on Amazon, courtesy of the nice folks who raised me on tasty eats. What better way than to reward and encourage my own culinary efforts with the best damn fry pan available to man. Sometimes, you just have to go for top shelf, ya know?

This joint had the best price around, on or off site. They delivered it fast too--apparently whirling into action as soon as I'd hit the "buy it" button. I received it well-packaged and just in time to try out on some breakfasty type scramble.

Voila! I would definitely buy from these folks again. The next time I get a little spending money thrown my way. Thanks M & D!

5 out of 5 stars Great pans   September 9, 2008
P. Murray (Williamsburg, VA USA)
I bought both the 8 and the 10-inch fry pans. I'm sold on All-Clad Stainless pans. I've used non-stick pans before to avoid messy clean up but the non-stick didn't perform that well. The All-Clad does an outstanding job on anything I cook and the clean up is a snap--just as easy as the non-stick. I'm in the process of replacing all my pans with All-Clad Stainless.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Quality in Cookwear   August 31, 2008
joaniepony (Californis Desert, Ridgecrest)
It is recommended to buy each piece as you need it and for the purpose it was designed.Cook's Illustrated, highly recommended this pan. I own almost every piece of All-Clad S.S. How lucky I was to have chosen it,when I was looking into purchasing my Athena Max Burton 6000 induction cooktop,All-Clad is totally compatible.

5 out of 5 stars ONE IS GOOD, TWO ARE BETTER   August 25, 2008
Pat (Kansas)
I thoroughly enjoy these 8" frypans. I own TWO. My husband likes 'sunny-side-up' eggs and I prefer lighly scrambled. I prepare both pans by melting very small amounts of equal parts oil (oil keeps the butter from burning & butter (butter gives the eggs a nice flavor) . While his eggs are frying, I am scrambling mine. Clean up is easy. While we have our breakfast the pans are soaking in soapy water, and by the time we are finished and clearing the table the pans are ready for washing. Cooked egg slips off easily, pan is shiny, and I am happy. Preparing a non-stick pan before cooking is key, and when it's done properly the pan behaves as a non-stick.
