This is a great pre-seasoned cast iron pan. It is a little larger than I had invisioned and it is super heavy. I have had no problems with cleaning or caring for the pan itself. Amazon by the way had the best price, even better than the lodge website. If you are looking for a larger cast iron pan than this is the one you should get.

Love it, Love it, Love it. Buy it!!!!! You will not be sorry. Just follow instructions about never using soap and alwasy greasing before and after use either with oil or grease, and you cannot go wrong. This skillet is huge and I love it. I mean it is BIG. Perfect for me and what I wanted. I can cook four fried eggs all at the same time and they don't come close to touching each other. Normally I have to cook his and then mine, so this lets us eat together.

The enormity of this thing simply cannot be overstated. If you have a normal sized stove, you should expect to lose the usage of one of your adjacent burners/elements.
It's so damn big that I'm not sure I'll use it that often. I expect I'll be happy to have it when I need it.

I bought a Lodge Logic 15" Cast Iron Skillet. Its amazing. I use to have a large family, but just my husband and myself now. Still, is wonderful. We love frying veggies from the garden; and with this I can do all at one time. And make extras, for my children and grandchildren. I've always loved cast iron; just never could find a skillet big enough, to fry a whole chicken in...and trust me, when the kids come here, time is of great value. lol...Anyone with a small or large family, would adore this one. Just what I've always wanted. Do enough grilled cheese sandwiches, for four, all at once. No waiting on pancakes, amazing.
