5 out of 5 stars Works great with my CFL bulbs   September 6, 2008
R. Altergott
I recently put CFL bulbs in my outdoor lights to save energy. Long ago, I had replaced my inside light switch with a dusk to dawn timer switch, but it made the new CFL bulbs flicker all night long and was harsh on the eyes. The first bulb burned out after just a few weeks. I replaced the timer switch with this new one, and have had no more problems. The new timer works great, and the lights no longer flicker. Thanks for providing a great product at a great price!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent!   September 6, 2008
J. Dellwo (The OC)
Bought this to replace a similar Radio Shack timer I've had for a decade that finally gave up the ghost. It has a lower profile than my old one. It's easy to set up and more importantly, I won't need to keep adjusting for the sunset or DST.

5 out of 5 stars Self-Adjusting Wall Switch Timer   August 30, 2008
John F. Stutzman, Jr. (Cedar Rapids, Iowa)
This product was easy to install and program. More importantly it works as advertised. The start and stop time changes based upon sunrise and sunset times and the automatic timing feature can be overridden by depressing the large square section on the front of the timer under the LCD Screen so that the timer then functions as a normal light switch.

4 out of 5 stars Wroks great (but hard to see)   August 28, 2008
R. J. Ellis (Billerica, MA)
The unit works great after you set it. But is very hard to see to set it. I have only use it for a few weeks, but it seem to with the three time sets very well.

2 out of 5 stars ST01 series "eats" batteries   August 11, 2008
R. L. Gates (Lincoln, CA)
I had to replace an earlier model that went belly-up a couple of months ago after working fine for 4 years. The replacement unit that I picked up was the Intermatic Model ST01 series. The engineers had redesigned the unit to use a camera battery (CR-2) instead of the previous models AAA batteries. Bad design!!! The CR-2s only last less than two months. I've gone through 4 batteries in about 7 months. They should never have gotten away from the AAA batteries!!! ...I've got to find another timer that uses a different battery design.
