I thought these were going to be A LOT softer - I have some 600 thread sheets now (much softer) however they were twice the cost. They are very thick and I like the chocolate brown color...

This is the second set of rennaisance 600 thread count sheets I have purchased. They are quality sheets but not heavy and stiff and each time I wash them they get softer. I will purchase them again for myself and as gifts.

These sheets are heavyweight and keep their crispness for longer than regular sheets. As a person who irons and changes the bedding more than once a week to keep the cripsness in my sheets, these are wonderful. They are soft, but not necessarily cuddly soft. I've found that they also keep me almost as warm as my flannels. I love them.
