I own this item and the related bathroom ensemble set including a lotion (liquid soap) dispenser, tumbler, and a small covered jar which I use for Q-tips. It is an elegant looking item made of earthenware so don't drop it or it will chip or break. It is a great finishing piece if you own the Croscill Townhouse set, I also own the Queen size bedroom ensemble (e.g., comforter, bed skirt and shams).

This tissue cover is absolutely beautiful, as is the entire croscill townhouse bath and bedding line. I bought this tissue cover but returned it because it it much larger than the box of tissues that it covers; therefore it wastes precious counter space, as well as the tissues falling back down into the cover because the cover is so much larger than the box. It got aggravating and I felt just wasn't worth the money. I feel that this is the only townhouse bath accessory piece that isn't worth the price. It costs nearly as much as the large wastebasket. Doesn't make sense to me. If you can find this for about $10-$15, I would recommend getting it, just so you have the entire bath set because the townhouse pattern has been discontinued and you won't be able to find it later. But if not, I wouldn't waste the money on it. It's pretty, just not practical because it doesn't go it's job. It's huge.

This kind of stuff is wasteful spending if you ask me, but I'm single with no children. Instead of buying tissue boxes with fancy boxes, you can buy this and get el-cheapo generics. Doesn't have a bottom so you can't take it with you! Plus it's porcelain so if you drop it, it's done. There are other outfits that sell this and other Croscill patterns in their own form of product line (tissue boxes, stools, toilet seat covers, etc.) so look there as well.
