While it doesn't turn bedtime into a campout, the Tot in Mind Cozy Crib Tent II is a great way to keep toddlers and toys inside the tent and pests and pets outside. The domed canopy attaches snugly via Velcro to most standard and sleigh cribs. Setup is easy--almost like a tent--and once on it discourages toddlers from climbing, falling, and wandering. If you have a climbing toddler not yet ready for a toddler bed, the Crib Tent II bridges the gap and will have parents, and child, resting easier. Crib rails can be lowered and bumper pads can still be used. The soft full zipper allows quick access to the crib, and it is compact and lightweight for travelling. Manufacturer recommended age is birth to three years. --Scott Teal

just what we needed September 23, 2008 H. Erskine (CT) my 2 year old had been unable to take naps or fall asleep at night due to the excitement of climbing out of his crib. A nightmare for us all! the tent worked perfectly, and ensures his safety and my sanity.
Relieves the worries September 12, 2008 Proud2BeAGrandma (Indiana) My 13 month old granddaughter kept getting her legs stuck between her crib rails. I called the crib company and they recommended a breathable crib bumper. I talked to my daughter about it. Our only concern with the crib bumper was that my granddaughter loves to climb and we were afraid she'd use the bumper as a step to give her a boost out of her crib. So I searched around a little and found this item. It is wonderful! It definitely prevents her legs from being stuck and there's no way she will be able to climb out of her crib. I read a couple of reviews and was hesitant because of the quality, but I'm glad I took the chance. It's as well made as you can expect anything made of mesh to be. Even if it would have to be replaced a couple of times a year (and I'm not saying that it will), it's worth it to me and her parents. We don't worry nearly as much when we put her down for a nap or for the night.
LOVE this! September 10, 2008 Kathy Carrington I purchased this to keep the cats out of my baby's crib. After a month of so, I realized they weren't interested and took it off. When my baby started getting her arms and legs caught in the crib bars, I thought of this and put it back on. It worked like a charm. At that point, I didn't bother zipping it up. When she started trying to climb out, I started zipping it up. She is 25 months old now and it's still going strong. I haven't had any tears or stitching come undone. The pull loop on the zipper can be wrapped around the end of one of the poles so that little fingers can't unzip the tent from the inside. I'm hoping to transition her to a bed soon but if it doesn't go well, I know the crib tent will keep her in her crib and safe during the night.
Great item August 16, 2008 Lauren Fogle My 20 month old daughter loves her "bed house" and I love knowing that she can't jump/fall out of her crib at night. It's a great transitional item.
Not perfect, but pretty good. August 10, 2008 Doug Henwood (New York, NY USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yeah, this thing frayed after a year of use, and it's not easy to install, but the one-star reviewers are obviously a bunch of subliterate morons. It's kept our wandering toddler in his crib, and he's quite happy under it. Reading the one-star reviews make me think that the internet has "empowered" a bunch of dumb malcontents who should have their mouths taped shut.
