Product Description With the Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles for the PS3, you'll open up new areas in the world of Oblivion so you can continue playing with your existing save game/character, or create an all new character just to explore the new content. Within the Realm of Sheogorath, players can explore the two extreme sides of the god's madness -- the sublimely creative and the completely psychotic. Something is happening to the Shivering Isles and Sheogorath himself looks to you to be his champion and defend his realm and its inhabitants from destruction. Do you have the strength to survive his trials, tame a realm fraught with paranoia and despair, and wear the mantle of a God? ESRB Rated M for Mature

More Elder Scrolls Goodness October 3, 2008 S. Osornio (Los Angeles, Ca) I love Elder Scrolls IV so I was eagerly awaiting this add-on. It didn't dissapoint in terms of gameplay and visuals. The fact that you can travel back and forth with your current ES IV character is great. The only downside I can say is that the game is too short and ends suddenly. However even after completing the main mission there is more exploring to be done.
The map is fairly small, but overall I liked it and still exploring all the areas of the map.
shivering isles=shivers of rapture September 1, 2008 bedouin 04 (virginia USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
for Rpg fans what's not to love? after 6 weeks of steady play on "oblivion" I was ready for greener pastures...well, "shivering" produces! beautiful environments steady action and just rewards..I would recommend you play thru "oblivion"first just enough tp get the feel of the game...all in all it is a great experience and even if you can devote minimal time at each session the game provides enough written history on screen to catch you up. good luck! may the nine guide you!
A nice addition to a great game December 28, 2007 David Stickel 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
Shivering Isles expands the same fun you have with the Elder Scroll game. New monsters, herbs, and treasures reengage you back into the story. The new scenery is a mix of colors that excite and disturb the mind.
