5 out of 5 stars Nice. Especially for the price!   July 20, 2008
powder2 (Florida)
Small and compact with big sound. Connected straight to a new LCD TV, so
I wouldn't need a separate amplifier & remote, and they sound and look great. I have the larger Logitech THX speakers on my desktop, too, but these sound really good for less than 1/2 the price. My wife was pleased.

5 out of 5 stars Great purchase   July 14, 2008

This is a great product. For way less than an iHome you can have a 2.1 surround sound system with much better quality and versatility.

5 out of 5 stars Great For The Price   July 6, 2008
Hans Moeller (Sacramento, CA)
This is my first system with a subwoofer and I love it! The price is great for what you get. The down through subwoofer literally rocks the floor. The thing that really sold me is that I can play my iPod without turning my computer on. This system has excellent sound for a starter set.

1 out of 5 stars Not What I Expected   July 2, 2008
William Rushing (Jay, Florida)
I purchased these speakers to use as computer speakers with the thought that I could use them with my Zune 80 as well. I had hopes that the Logiteck x-240 would be a great fit. They were not!

The first problem I ran into was trying to run the wires through the cord keepers on my desk. I wanted to put the speakers and "wired remote" (cradle) on the desk and have the sub-woofer under the desk. This proved impossible as the "wired remote" does not disconnected from the sub-woofer and would not fit through the holes cut out in the desk for the wires. This is definitely a poor design.

Once I hooked up the speakers, I ran into a second problem. I could not listen to them without getting a crackling sound from the right speaker. It did not matter how loud the volume was set. The crackle came from the computer sound and while playing a podcast from my Zune. I am not sure if my set had a blown speaker or what?

I am returning the item in hopes to find a better sounding set of speakers. I am not looking for audiophile speakers, but I want something that will fit on my desktop and not crackle when I listen to them.
