Product Description Upgrade your experience with the Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse. The soft-touch rubber grip provides natural comfort, and the wireless mini-receiver receiver installs effortlessly and eliminates clutter. Smart power management extends battery life up to 8 months - or more if you use the on/off button - and an indicator light gives you plenty of advance notice when it's time to change batteries. Tilt wheel plus zoom is perfect for viewing digital photos and spreadsheets. Instantly zoom in or out, and scroll horizontally and vertically without moving your mouse. Forward/back buttons allow speed browsing in web sites and documents.

Too Small September 29, 2008 S. Cohen It is a little small for my hand and I wanted a laser mouse and not an optical mouse, I am returning and buying the LX8.
Great mouse and support from Logitech! September 28, 2008 superman2k3 (On a sunny beach!) My review is based on the 2 months of experience using this product.
Pro's: 1. The mouse works great and is accurate. 2. No wired clutter and easy to maneuver. 3. Battery lasts long time, haven't replaced even once so far. 4. Support call to Logitech is answered promptly with a US based call center even on weekends. 5. 5-year warranty, something unheard of in today's use-n-throw electronics world.
Con's: 1. The receiver's outer shell separated from the inner electronics after a month of frequent use (Logitech has agreed to replace this a new one). 2. The grip on the mouse could have been made more sweat resistant. 3. Mouse needs 2 AA batteries which makes it heavier than normal mice.
I would recommend this to anyone not removing/adding the receiver frequently from their laptop/PC. Otherwise look for a mouse with sturdier receiver.
Nice Mouse September 26, 2008 Mattie (Bethalto, IL USA) I like this mouse. It worked right out of the box with no more than 3 minutes unpack and setup time. The receiver plugged right into my keyboard. Really like the fit--not too small or too large. Downloaded the software for the extra features, no problems. Great price...thanks, Amazon.
excellent mouse, precise and comfortable September 20, 2008 CS (Acton, MA, USA) In my opinion, the key features of a mouse are precision, ease of use, and comfort. This mouse satisfies all three of these criteria as well as I could possibly expect.
Beyond this, the feature set is quite complete enough for most users (I'm not a gamer, so can't comment on that kind of usage). You ought to use the Logitech SetPoint software (download from logitech.com) to be able to use all the features and customize the mouse to your liking.
I am using this with Vista, having acquired it to replace a dead rollerball mouse. Since I already had SetPoint installed, all I had to do was to plug it in, and it picked up all my previous settings without trouble and began to work well.
I also like the power-saving feature (automatically goes to standby), and the power switch (useful if you're packing the mouse for travel, or if you're going away for a few days without the mouse).
I myself wouldn't use this mouse for travelling; for that I prefer a smaller Logitech mouse which allows the usb key to be inserted into the mouse. (See the V450 for example.)
Check the Logitech website for driver support for other operating systems.
A Phat mouse! September 15, 2008 K. Pinney (Greensboro, NC) This is a really solid item, does everything we need it to do. However, we did have some difficulty getting it to work with our keyboard. There really weren't any instructions & since we couldn't e-mail for help because of not being able to connect our keyboard it took quite a bit of doing & a call to our computer guy to try get it to work for us. Overall, though, after getting it finally hooked up it is GREAT. The only complaint I have about the actual use of the mouse is it feels a little awkward in my hand, not as smooth as our previous Logitech, just some getting used to.
