Excelente por su precio January 9, 2009 Cesar Lemus (Maracaibo, Venezuela) La verdad que estoy conforme con la compra de esta camara. Yo siempre he tenido Kodak y esta vez me decidi a cambiar. Saludos.
you get what you pay for January 9, 2009 foothills (Vermont) I bought three, one for mom one for dad and one for me. I have a larger Nikon but wanted something more portable and easy to use. I liked the Fuji, the controls are easy to use, it has enough functions to satisfy most useers and it's small enough to put easily in your pocket.
Unfortunately, while sitting on a couch the camera dropped to the floor and the lens did not function after that. The hardware holding the lens is plastic and the mechanism extending the lens got jammed up.
It got sent back with minimal hassle, thanks Amazon!. I will replace it with another slightly more expensive camera.
Have not gotten a report from mom and dad yet, but I reviewed a lot of entry level cameras and this one looked great for older people looking for a digital camera that's easy to use.
too many blurry shots January 8, 2009 Geodon (Long Island, NY) I received this camera as a gift for my birthday in September. This was to replace an 8 year old Olympus digital camera. I wanted to preserve all those precious moments that my two young children will give to me.
I have used it countless times and taken hundreds of pictures. I find that still shots come out beautiful but anything else and you run the risk of the shot being blurred. I have checked the troubleshooting section in the manual but nothing there has helped to resolve this issue. I have taken pictures with different settings and while some seem to work a bit better than others, many shots still end up on the blurry side. Others have stated that they find this camera to be great at taking shots on the move, I find this not to be the case with my particular camera. I do not know if it's a defect in the one I own or this particular line.
This camera also came with an accessory pack. A charger, battery, tripod, carrying case, 4 GB memory card and cleaning kit.
I would recomend saving your money and purchasing a different camera.
Average January 7, 2009 Chris (AZ) I bought this as a gift for my mother. She really likes it and it is definitely a great, small, and portable device. However, some of the menu options could be easier to navigate, and from what I have seen from other reviews, it is true that the corners of the pictures are darker; otherwise picture is good. It comes with a rechargable battery, which is a plus. Overall an average product. Great for beginning and intermediate digital camera users.
Great camera for the price January 7, 2009 P. Dunlap Good camera for first time digital camera users, color is vibrant! The video feature is great! I bought this camera for my daughter and she liked the compact feel of it.
