| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Canon's iconic ELPH design achieves a stunning new evolution with the PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH. Utterly simple edge lines and cut surfaces gleam subtly with high-grade finishes. Of course, style means little without substance, and here the SD750 Digital ELPH more than delivers. 7.1 megapixels and DIGIC III create magnificent images, while exciting advanced technologies include Face Detection, Red-eye Correction, and time-lapse movies. Always sized to go, the SD750 Digital ELPH is now extra-durable, with a tough scratch-resistant coating on its anti-reflective, brilliantly colorful 3.0-inch LCD screen.

Very nice. September 7, 2008 Nearry (Pikesville, MD) This camera is GREAT for a point and shoot. Small enough to carry around without feeling bulky. Is limited in zoom and distance night shooting. The images don't reflect the light from the flash so pictures come out really dark. Even though this camera has a red eye feature...I still seem to be getting red eyes..maybe its something I'm doing wrong. Video option works really nicely. I love the different scene options that you can choose from...fireworks, night, indoor, etc. For the price, this camera is well worth your money.
Light Weight and Handy September 6, 2008 Jay Chan (NJ, USA) I bought this camera largely because my brother-in-law also has the same one and he highly recommends it.
After I have used it for a while, I think I also like it for the following reasons: (1) It is very compact and light weight; I can carry it in my belt (using the Canon camera case that is designed for the camera) whole day without feeling that it is there. (2) Because it is very light weight and compact, I can carry it where-ever / whenever I have a slight chance that I may need to use it; this means I don't miss any opportunity of taking pictures of my kids. (3) It takes nice pictures indoor in low light environment. (4) Its shuttle speed, although not the greatest, is fast enough for me to take pictures of less than cooperative subjects (like my kids). (5) It can take "reasonably" good video.
The downsides are: (1) The videos are not high-def. Luckily, I am not buying it for high-def video anyway; therefore, this doesn't really matter for me at this point. (2) The zoom is limited. Luckily, I am buying it for the convenience, not for the zoom function. This is OK with me.

canon SD 750 September 6, 2008 venkata r jaladi This is one of the best products which i have ever used. Amazon.com has delivered on time.
Excellent point-and-shoot camera September 2, 2008 V. Reider I have been nothing but extremely pleased with my new camera. The shots it takes are lovely, clear, and detailed. It could not be easier to operate and for someone who just wants to take pictures of family, friends, pets, pretty scenery, etc, this is an exceptional camera for the money. I was a little nervous about buying it because some users reported that it took blurry photos, but it only takes blurry photos if you do not allow the camera to focus (hold the button down part way)before you force the shot. Basically, skim the instructions and you will be very happy with this camera.
